Training and Professional Development

The TN State Alliance supports both in-person and virtual training opportunities aimed to help staff grow personally and professionally. Training opportunities include Y-USA Leadership Certification courses and other types of content that can be personalized to the needs of the Y staff.

Staff Development Weeks

Staff Development Weeks are a great way for YMCA staff to strengthen their professional development, as well as network with other staff throughout the YMCA movement. We host three Staff Development Weeks each year across the state in addition to aquatic trainings for TN YMCA Staff.
